The Mission

The Forge River is dying. Every day, tidal flow deposits and muddy sludge dirty our precious waters. Save the Forge River is a nonprofit, community-supported organization with the mission to heal and environmentally restore the livelihood of the Forge River.

Through grassroots and legislative initiatives to promote public awareness, Save the Forge River strives to reverse the tides and trespasses of past generations. With volunteer and monetary support, this enduring river shall live for our children to enjoy.

Dear Friends of Forge River, Save The Forge River will be using a different website starting tomorrow Friday, August 9th, 2007. Our new website will permit us to update the community on a broad scale. We will now be able to post videos and audio on the new site.
